Swindon United Churches too good for Cirencester [Thursday 13 June 2002]

Swindon United Churches proved too good for Cirencester Colts last night as they easily won by ten wickets in pursuit of 90.

Captain Andy Reynolds winning the toss was about as good as it got for Cirencester as they lost Simon Rowe in the third over. Despite Geoff Perrott's three successive sixes and Sudy Rao's composed innings, Cirencester's total of 89 looked far short of being competitive.

And so it proved, as, despite one or two scares from Perrott, the home side coasted to victory.
