Pre-season
training schedule announced
Sunday 6 March 2005
Pre-season training will
be underway shortly. The feedback has been that all sessions must be high
intensity, focused and high quality and so the programme has been designed
with this in mind and will culminate with an "Afternoon with Tony Wright"
on Saturday April 9. Sadly John Turton is not able to devote as much time
as last year to coaching at the Club.
Training starts with Indoor Nets at Rendcomb College Sports Hall on Mondays
14 and 21 March from 6 -> 8pm and the sessions will be supervised by Rendcomb's
resident coach David Essenheigh. Ideally we would designate set times for
players to attend but that is not logistically possible. Therefore turn up
at a time convenient for you, but please be prepared to wait for a slot if
you arrive when things are very busy.
There will be no charge for pre-season training, not least because of the
aggravation of collecting the money. However subscriptions have been increased
slightly to cover the costs. The usual signing on letter with full details
of the pre-season programme and the CricketForce weekend on April 2/3 will
be with you shortly.
As ever new players are very welcome, but please do not to "just turn
up" but contact Brian Hudson on 01285 653762 first. If anyone has any
queries please contact Brian or John Putney on 01285 657890 or Johnmputney@aol.com.
If any 2004 members have moved home or email address, again please let Brian have your new details.
