2. Matters arising from previous minutes (January 26 2004)

· 80% Rate Relief - Application still to be submitted - urgent. Action: BDH
· Clubhouse Sunday Morning Manager - Job Description required for Lynn Action: BDH
· Small Shed Keys - Keys held by DJ/BW/BDH & spare behind bar - has anyone else got one? Action: All

3. Correspondence

· Bathurst Estate water payment
· CDCA Minutes (Jan Meeting)
· Request by GCB for use of ground for Schools Kwik Cricket Competitio on Wed 9 June.
· Notice of Groundsman Courses - Dan Robbins attending on 21st March at Gloucester CC

4. Treasurer's Report

· Deposit Account £6037, Current Account £500, Cash in hand £10. Total £6540, plus 3D Sports vouchers £100. Liabilities - Grasscutting 2003 (£1000), Scoreboard (£600), complete fencing (£1000+), Matting for Net bowler's ends (£400?) Boundary Rope & TV Licence/aerial (£??)
· Urgent need to tidy up 2002/3 Accounts and get them to auditors. Action: BDH
· Need to apply for Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) status. Will also still apply for 80% Business Rates Relief for 2003/4. Accounts are pre-cursor. Action: BDH
· Insurance renewed (£198)
· Treasurer to cost a new sightscreen. Action: BDH

5. Senior Cricket

· Reminder - Andy Stovold on Thursday, 7:30 pm
· Nets start next Sunday, March 7. 3:00pm - 4:30 pm slot negotiated. Suggest £3-50 per session if paid coach present, £2-50 if not. Collect cash - ACTION : AR/DJ
· John Turton indicated provisional willingness to be (remunerated) Senior Coach. Needs to be confirmed now back from Goa
· John still working on bringing over Donwill - JT/DR know that Club cannot contribute
· Several players signed up - Andy Barnes, Tim Cambray, Dan Hudson, Rich Hudson, Jon McCosh, David Shackleton, James Shackleton, Tom Smith, Jon Turner (no cheque), Brian Woodcock, Phil Carter, Dan Robbins.

6. Junior Cricket

· Sub-Committee Meeting - 15th March 2004 7:30pm at the Clubhouse.

7. Ground

· Need to acquire/purchase Boundary Rope . Action : NP/MC/DR
· Help is required with the square rolling. Action : ALL
· Nick has drawn up a specification for the secondary cutting areas and the area adjacent to the pedestrian gate into the Park is being cleared.

8. Clubhouse

· Thanks were expressed to Brian W for his on-going work both with the kit and the pavilion.
· No response from the Archery Club regarding removal of their equipment.
· Various plumbing jobs to be done - agreed to engage plumber. Action:BDH

9. Fixture Secretary's Report

· John has been approached by a touring team (Sunbury) regarding a mid-week match in July - decided not to accept.

10. Redevelopment

· Position clarified with the Estate
· Chairman attending Active England seminar on 5th March
· Chairman to meet CDC to produce Active England application by the 31st March deadline.

11. Bar Secretary's Report

· Dave Watson has changed supplier - may mean a change to beer/lager

12. Fund Raising

· £1000 received from Bridges. Sponsorship plan/logo etc. now finalised.
· Cheque received from St James Place (£450.00) to be used for new scoreboard.
· 2004 Raffle scrutineers form now completed

13. AOB

· Coaching Plan Meeting with GCB cancelled - to be re-scheduled. ACTION: PAC
· Cricket Club Road Sign - to be costed. Action: NP
· Chairman reported that Kingshill School indoor nets will still NOT be available next winter.
